Effects (fx)

fx:{name}[:{arg}] applies an effect. The op is repeatable and applied in the order written — fx:grayscale,fx:blur:20 desaturates then blurs. Each effect has a fixed argument count; the full vocabulary with arities is in the grammar reference.

Geometry is part of the vocabulary too — rotate takes degrees, flip mirrors vertically, flop mirrors horizontally:
